The Review - THEATRE
Published: 17 July 2008

The war on horror

THE experiences of former soldiers traumatised by the horrors of war have been brought powerfully and painfully to life by students in Somers Town.
Not Yet Nervous, performed by GCSE drama pupils from South Camden Community School, was the end result of a three month collaboration with the Freud Museum in Hampstead entitled The Archeology of Conflict: Unearthing the Psychological.
The play was inspired by the testimonies of combat stress sufferers at Tyrwhitt House in Surrey, as told to A-level psychology students.
It was dramatised by professional playwright Benjamin Davis.
