The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie
The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie
In the wings

• LEADING the vanguard of Livingstone’s “Greening London Theatre”, the Arcola Theatre in Dalston intends to produce the first carbon-neutral, sustainable show when it stages the Living Unknown Soldier this month. A hydrogen fuel cell will power all the lighting for the production – impressive as it is, let’s hope it doesn’t upstage the performance.

• MURIEL Spark’s tale of an independent, opinionated and wholly unconventional Edinburgh schoolteacher gets a stage outing next week courtesy of the Tower Theatre company. The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie (pictured) runs from Feb 12 – 16 at the Theatro Technis.

THE light-footed entrants who correctly predicted the answer to last week’s competition are Dee Linnell, Caroline Lynch and Richard Pendrill. They each win a pair of tickets to see Tango Por Dos perform the Buenos Aires Tango at the Peacock Theatre, Holborn.
