* ACT Provocateur’s engaging series of Ingmar Bergman
adaptations continues with Autumn Sonata, an exploration of an intense mother-
daughter relationship, from Friday January 4.
The play appears as one half of a double bill with The Celebration Concerto, about the life of a brilliant violinist, penned by the company’s one and only Dumle Kogbara.

Young performers between 11 and 21 should keep an eye out for the Youth Music Theatre (YMT) auditions, beginning next week.

• EVER wanted to learn the art of puppeteering but worried there might be too many strings attached? Puns aside, the opportunity has now presented itself thanks to the wonderful Little Angel Theatre in Dagmar Passage, Islington.
From the Saturday Puppet Club for youngsters, to the teenager-aimed Puppet Academy and the Adult Puppet Club, there’s something to catch the imagination of young and old alike.
