THE Musical Flying Squad present a celebration of the lives of Mary Wollstonecraft, Mary Shelley and Elizabeth Garrett Anderson. There will be songs about Equiano, a Holborn resident who campaigned against the slave trade of which he had been a victim, and about King’s Cross Station in the days of steam, and songs from Jellicoe the Musical.
London with a Swing – Songs and Scenes from Local and London History – is on Wednesday May 9 at the Theatro Technis Festival. Other performances will be at Jellicoe Hall, Drummond Crescent on Monday May 8 and at St Pancras Old Church on May 12.

A PIECE of verbatim theatre investigating the lives of 50 gay men in Britain produces a “challenging, shocking and comic” piece of theatre.

The Gay Man’s Guide runs at the Drill Hall from May 30.
