U-13 Cup semi-final
A HEART breaking penalty shoot-out saw Hampstead lose to
Brentford on Sunday.
Two opportunist goals from Samara Scott set Hamps on their way
but Brentford levelled to force extra time.
Sika King looked to have booked a final spot in extra time,
but Brentford replied again to force a sudden death penalty
shoot out.
In the under-15s, Jadine Madden scored for Hampstead but it
was not enough as they went down 4-1 to Headstone Manor.
• Hampstead did enjoy cup glory in the Winchester Project’s
day of sport at the new Swiss Cottage astro-turf pitch.
Hampstead beat Torriano 4-0 in the final with two goals from
Shauna Magner and one each by Hannah McWilliams and Georgia
Kinsella. |
