How much is secrecy?
• AFTER reading the article about Barry Sullivan (Round
ten in secret files fight, March 2) I felt that I must write
to convey my anger at the way Mr Sullivan is continuing to be
treated by Camden Council.
From my understanding, this whole situation began because
certain people working within Camden Council had slandered Mr
Sullivan’s name and reputation in emails and they continue
to do so by essentially calling Mr Sullivan a self-serving,
money grabbing charlatan!
Camden Council’s‚ lawyer calling Mr. Sullivan a “pseudo
advisor”,is a deliberate attempt to undermine the credibility
of some one who has been nothing short of a lifesaver for a
lot of people who live within this community. Not only is it
damaging to him, but also to those who work closely with him.
If Camden have nothing to hide, why have they not released this
file? I would be interested to know how much it is costing to
keep this file under wraps.
