Spurs take the points

Premiership Reserve League South
Arsenal 1
Tottenham Hotspur 2

NEARLY 4,000 fans packed into Underhill on Monday to witness a pulsating north London derby between the league’s top two teams.
Arsenal welcomed back Ashley Cole after injury but the England full-back lasted only five minutes before he hobbled off.
Afterwards, coach Neil Banfield said: “I think he’s got a whack on the ankle and I think it’s twisted but that’s as much as I know.”
Spurs took the initiative in the opening stages and took the lead in the 14th minute; Holborn raised Johnnie Jackson curling in a corner which was directed towards goal by Calum Davenport and rammed home by Andy Barcham.
Spurs doubled up their advantage eight minutes later when Simon Dawkins slid home Charlie Daniels’ low cross.
Arturo Lupoli scored his 17th goal of the season with 22 minutes left when he seized on a through ball from Alexandre Song.
