PREVIEW: ECHO AND THE BUNNYMEN

THE Bunnymen recruited new fans at the Crawl earlier this year when The Enemy cancelled their Roundhouse gig and Koko welcomed an unexpected migration from Chalk Farm.
The stars of that weekend now get their own big show after releasing new album, The Fountain, on Monday.
Back in April, Koko was treated to the Bunnymen’s Scouse sparkle at its best. The 80s stars reprised their second coming, introducing a fresh-faced audience to the seminal songs that established them.
The enigmatic Ian McCulloch oozes star quality, usually aided by an unseasonally big coat and only slightly smaller shades.
Expect collective swooning in the face of Bring on the Dancing Horses and the superbly saccharine Nothing Lasts Forever.
