PREVIEW: BOMBAY BICYCLE CLUB
King’s College

BOMBAY Bicycle Club have come a long way from the band that formed purely to fill a space in a school assembly.
The first taste of their debut album I Had the Blues But I Shook Them Loose (released July 6), new single Always Like This has a hint of Talking Heads to it.
The tour that coincides with the release of the track sold out in days, so the band have combined with legendary music magazine Artrocker and added a new date.
As the only other chance to see them ahead of the album release is at the end of May supporting the Fratellis at one of the Island Records’ 50th anniversary celebrations, tickets for which start at £27.50, I suggest that everyone takes advantage of this new date at King’s College Student Union on April 13.
