On song for a capella date

FOLLOWING the successful launch of their album Vivaldi Gloria at St Martin-in-the-Fields last July, the New London Singers return to the Trafalgar Square venue on Tuesday for a one-off concert of a cappella music by French and Swiss composers.
Conducted by Kentish Town-based Ivor Setterfield, who recently featured in the BBC’s high-profile Maestro television series and has worked with numerous orchestras and music ensembles, the New London Singers will perform Fauré’s Requiem in D minor and Martin’s Mass for unaccompanied double choir plus repertoire from other French composers.
