AIRBOURNE TOXIC EVENT

SOMETIMES a band produces something that’s not new, not innovative and yet there’s something you like about it you can’t quite explain. LA’s Airborne Toxic Event’s new single is just this, a typical old U2-style rock song, a rising story of unrequited (or is it?) lust that builds as each verse progresses. There’s no chorus but this doesn’t matter because by the end you feel like you know it.
They played a month-long residency at the Dublin Castle last month and their self-titled album is out on Monday.
