GOSSIP column favourite Lily Allen landed herself in hot water recently when she allowed her mate Mark Ronson to play her as-yet unreleased cover of Britney Spears’ hit Womanizer on his radio show.
Her excuse? He needed something no one had heard before, it was all she had on her Blackberry and she asked him to talk all over it but he didn’t.
Ah well – I’m sure it won’t spoil the surprise too much for fans who have been eagerly awaiting her return to London’s live circuit.
After two years enjoying the tabloid headlines and releasing a whole crazy range of dresses to be worn with trainers, Lily is back with a vengeance.
Her show at Koko on January 28 promises fans a special preview from her album It’s Not Me, It’s You, which will be released on February 9. Her single The Fear is out two days before the Koko date.
The Koko show sold out in less than an hour but I’m sure if you hang around outside there will be someone desperate to get rid of an extra ticket.
Failing that, you could just tune in to Mark Ronson’s show and hope he plays another of her exclusive tracks.
