PREVIEW: VILLANDRY JAZZ IN THE LUND
Lund Theatre, UCS

THE popular Jazz in the Lund series continues next Thursday (November 6) with a rare performance by Britain’s leading trumpeter, Gerard Presencer.
Presencer boasts an impressive list of collaborations in his career, having played and recorded with artists as diverse as Sting, James Brown, Ray Charles and, more worryingly, Robbie Williams.
He has also toured the world with Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts in his Quintet which featured bassist Dave Green, saxophonist Pete King and pianist Brian Lemon.
His band for the Lund gig features the internationally acclaimed BBC 3 new generation artist Gwilym Simcock on piano, Josh Blackmore on drums and Phil Donkin on bass.
