The digital revelations

THE nominations have been announced and the stars are getting ready to claim their prizes at the BT Digital Music Awards at the Roundhouse on Wednesday (October 1).
Pop princess Kylie Minogue and electro-indie quartet Bloc Party are both up for three awards while British supergroups Coldplay and Radiohead are in line for two. Competition for the 19 award categories is fierce with names such as The Hoosiers, Alphabeat, Sam Beeton and The Ting Tings fighting it out for Best Pop Artist. Wiley, Akala, Beardyman, M.I.A. and Roots Manuva are up for Best Urban Artist.
