Swedish House Mafia are set to play at Koko
Stars of House music take turns to bid farewell to club

PREVIEW: EASTER WEEKEND AND SWEDISH HUSE MAFIA
Turnmills / Koko

THE final weekend of Turnmills looks set to be a scorcher even if it’s raining outside, and even inside – well it does get a bit hot in there.
Although sold out, maybe there are still a few tickets up for grabs, if you ask the right people nicely and have folding money to spare.
But let’s get down to business. After Sunday night, Turnmills is no more.
Starting tomorrow, the biggest names to ever spin a record will be filing in two by two.
An attack on any one of the three nights lined up for this weekend would decimate the house music scene irreparably – yes, that’s how big it is.
Rather than rabbit on about who’s playing, I’m gonna give it to you straight:
* Friday, March 21: The Last Ever Gallery @ Turnmills – Tall Paul, Sister Bliss, Judge Jules, Seb Fontaine, Brandon Block, Alex P, Daniele Davoli and Lisa Loud
* Saturday, March 22: The Heavenly Get Together @ Turnmills – The Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim, Justin Robertson, James Holroyd, Anil Chawla and Streetlife DJs,
* Sunday, March 23: The Last Dance @ Turnmills – Frankie Knuckles, Danny Rampling, Danny Newman, CJ Mackintosh, Lottie, Ashley Beedle, Terry Farley and Pete Heller.
So who’s going to get the biggest cheer over the three nights? I expect master of clubbing Danny Rampling will be up there, while Danny Newman will be equally well-received.
But if you really can’t get inside the heaving do that will be the farewell to Turnmills party, then don’t be glum.
Set to be the second hottest ticket in town is the Swedish House Mafia shindig at Mornington Crescent’s Koko, hosted by Lock N Load, the crazy gang behind Get Loaded in The Park festivals.
