But all this worthiness can get tiring – ‘aid fatigue’, I think, is the term.
That’s why Oxfam’s month-long Oxjam gigs are an innovative, original brainwave.

Some of the treats on offer are an 11-hour unsigned band marathon at ULU on Saturday October 22, a three-day extravaganza at the Good Ship from Wednesday October 25 to Friday 27, and the Scissor Sisters Halloween bash at Brixton Academy on Tuesday October 31 – £1 from every ticket will go to Oxfam.
