Women attacked in street
POLICE are hunting a group of men who attacked two women in Drury Lane, leaving one of them with broken ribs.
The victims, both 22, were making their way home from a night out when they were dragged to the floor and stripped of their jewellery and mobile phones.
Police believe there were three or possibly four attackers, who engaged the women in conversation before striking at around 1.30am on Sunday April 19.
The other victim was punched in the face and had her mobile phone stolen, before the group fled along Martlett Close in the direction of Covent Garden.
