Hit-and-run victim dies


A PENSIONER was killed in a hit-and-run incident on Wednesday afternoon.
The man, 74, was struck by a Porsche 911 on the slip road leading to Hyde Park Corner. He was pronounced dead at the scene and yesterday (Thursday) was yet to be identified. The driver failed to stop. Sgt Don Simpson, of the collision investigation unit at Euston, said: “We need to trace any witnesses.
