May madness at the Masquerade
PREVIEW: THE MUCHA MARCHA MAY MASQUERADE
At proud
IT'S Friday. It’s another bank holiday weekend. It’s Mucha Marcha At Proud (again), and I had so much fun last time I thought I’d mention it (again).
So, has anyone seen Eyes Wide Shut? There’s that horrible weird scene where Tom Cruise gets up to all kinds of strange hanky panky at some posh masquerade ball. This won’t be anything like it – mainly because it would be illegal (public sex and ritual killing is generally frowned upon) but masks can only be a boost, adding to pulling possibilities as they do (you got a spot? No problem).
The line up boasts of partygirl-of-the-moment Peaches Geldof’s new outfit The New Testament Party Crew (is that good or bad? Don’t know, never heard her DJ), along with the beautiful singer Valentina. Headliner Radar, who sound a bit like Camden Town institution Madness, apparently, have come to the right place.
