IN THE WINGS
* NIGEL Harman, who played hardman Dennis Rickman in Eastenders, will perform at the Tricycle Theatre in a production of Harold Pinter’s The Caretaker next month.
He is joined by David Bradley, of Harry Potter fame, and Con O’Neil who performed in the critically acclaimed Telstar at the Ambassadors.
The month’s run at the Kilburn playhouse, which follows sell-out performances at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield, begins March 16.
• A DEBUT season of American cabaret is hosted by Jeff Harnar at Jermyn Street until March 4.
Four leading singers will perform, including Maude Maggart, a multi-award-winning singer including a Tony for Special Achievement in Cabaret.
She has performed with Micahel Feinstein and Andrea Marcovicci in San Francisco and the Regency, New York.
• Death of a Salesman won Arthur Miller the Pulitzer Prize for Theatre. Miller’s exposé of the emptiness at the heart of the post-war American dream, set in Brooklyn in the 1920s and 40s, runs at the Bridewell Theatre until March 3. |
