Pianist’s Dusk Fire

• THANK you for the interesting review of Nucleus Revisited and the Michael Garrick Quartet at Ronnie Scott’s Club (Flashback to Things Past, August 14).
The review attributed Dusk Fire to Ian Carr. In fact, this wonderful piece of music, played originally by the Rendell-Carr Quintet, was written by Michael Garrick, at the time pianist with the band.
