Let’s vote for our Alex
• CAN I prevail on readers to vote for Alexandra Burke, who will be appearing in Saturday’s The X Factor programme on ITV.
When I knew her all those years ago as a young pupil at Copenhagen primary school, where I was play leader and a teaching assistant, she was very quiet and showed little of her current amazing singing ability.
But she was always very nice and polite. Like thousands of residents in the borough, I would be delighted if she won the competition.
