Environment duo for Finsbury Park

TWO new environmental officers are going on patrol in Finsbury Park this week in an effort to clean up an area with a reputation for grubbiness.
The London boroughs-funded FinFuture launched the scheme to help residents and businesses keep the area tidy.
Residents will be able to complain to the team about their environment or seek advice about improvements they can be involved in.
Street environment officers Kim Crookes and Phil Harper will be out and about in Finsbury Park talking to businesses and ensuring the environment is as welcoming as possible.
In the near future it is expected that a third member will be recruited to work with businesses and the Safer Neighbourhoods teams. They can be contacted on 020 7527 5161 or 020 7527 5096.
Despina Johnson, chief executive of FinFuture said: “Our new team will continue the good work already being done in the area by the Streetscene Service and Safer Town Centres.”
