HANDS-ON healing books a library place

A RELAXING array of alternative therapies were on offer at a holistic health fair on Saturday.
The event was the first of its kind to be hosted by the newly-renovated gallery space at Central Library, in Fieldway Crescent, Highbury.
Up to 50 visitors enjoyed various massages and complementary healing therapies.
They included Indian head massage, reiki – a “hands-on healing technique” from Japan – and the metamorphic technique, which organiser Manta Nanda said helps people fulfil their life potential.
Ms Nanda, who moved to Islington in September last year, is setting up a reiki clinic for mothers and babies.
