Islington Tribune - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 2 March 2007

Poor marks

• THE Audit Commission annual report into the performance of Islington Council has again pointed the finger at the dreadful deal we are getting from the Town Hall.

In the categories “use of resources” and “value for money”, Islington scores a very poor two out of five. What is more shocking is the very poor score for “culture”, something the Lib Dems have been promoting with expensive glossy literature and posters. Again they score only two out of five for this.
It seems to have been money down the drain – something the Audit Commission has now confirmed.
