Baby Manal Mouftah with parents Abd el Majid Mouftah and Mouna el Khalid Mouftah
Here’s looking at you, kid!

THEY met in the famous romantic film setting of Casablanca but their own love story took an unexpected twist with the birth of a “lively, lovely baby” on Christmas Day.
Abd el Majid, 48, and Mouna Mouftah, 30, brought little Manal into the world at 4.44am at the Royal Free Hospital.
Weighing in at 3.88 kilos, Manal was the first baby born in the Pond Street hospital on the religious holiday.
Mr Mouftah, who lives in Goldhurst Terrace, West Hampstead, said: “It is an absolute pleasure that Manal has been born on Christmas Day. It is just so exciting because it is such a big day.”
The hospital’s ward manager Pam Nyamadzawo added: “It is a lively, lovely baby”.
Mr Mouftah, assistant bar manager at Ye Olde Swiss Cottage in Finchley Road, met his wife in Casablanca, Morocco, in 2005. Manal is their first child.
Mr Mouftah added: “Morocco is a wonderful place. You can go to the beach and go skiing – it has everything really.”
