Anaconda swimmers and coaches celebrate their record-breaking club achievements in the National Swimming League
Anaconda on a high after recording club’s best performances

PERSONAL best times and club records were flowing on Saturday when youngsters from Anaconda reached their highest-ever position in the National Swimming League.
Competing in Watford, the under-13s boys relay team of Dominic McLoughlin, Andrew Boadi, Padraig Lynch and Joe Grubb won the highest honours as they smashed four club records during a six-race winning streak.
The speedsters were just as effective in the individual ranks, with McLoughlin collecting gold in both the 100m freestyle and the 100m backstroke, while Grubb swam a fabulous personal best time of 1.23.59 to win the 100m breaststroke.
The biggest cheer of the afternoon went to Freddie Cornwell, who became the fourth fastest swimmer in the country to complete the 50m butterfly with a record-breaking time of 34.95.
There were also outstanding swims by Naomi Jeffs, Chelcie Coyne, Ronnie Grubb, Clare Walton, Megan Thompson, Gabriel Cramer, Kathleen Bartha and Lauren Spiers.
