Anaconda’s development youngsters
Centre stage for Anaconda

YOUNGSTERS from Anaconda Swimming Club were in outstanding form on Saturday as they took centre stage at the Ben Williams Trophy held in Enfield.
Swimmers from the club’s talented development squad sealed a series of personal bests as they showcased their skills at the time-banded gala.
Among the top winners were Poppy Bedwell and Michelle Mateus, who won the under-10s breaststroke and the under-11s backstroke respectively.
In the under-12s, Hannah Tyndall won in the freestyle, while Charlie Snow won the breaststroke. Lorena Mateo also recorded a winning time as she touched home first in the under-13s freestyle.
Elsewhere, Henry Howard, Jodie Sees, Stephan Ledesmo, Valentia Costa and Lauren Spiers all hit new personal bests as they finished second in their respective races. Verity Hayes, Alex Brown and Frederick Cornwell also secured a series of top time finishes.
As the club continues to go from strength to strength, there were also promising debuts for Verity James, Tashan Harris-Wilson, Albert Snow and Tayla Hudson.
