Row erupts over 393 bus route

A ROW has erupted between Transport for London and councillors over their plans to extend a bus route through Kentish Town.
The 393 route runs from Clapton in north east London to Holloway.
TfL wanted to extend the route to end at Chalk Farm, but have come under criticism for their manner of consultation.
Lib Dem councillor Phil Thompson said: “It’s a sham consultation. They do not give the slightest damn what residents want.”
Disagreement has broken out about what is the best way of getting from Clapton to Chalk Farm, with Cllr Thompson suggesting a route through Agar Grove would be appropriate than Kentish Town.
A meeting will be held at Torriano school on Tuesday at 7pm.
