X-mas lights! TV singer brightens up switch-on
IT was a white Christmas in more ways than one at the Brunswick Centre last Friday.
Not only did snow flutter down on the amassed crowds (remarkable how it only settled in about three square metres!), but X Factor star Laura White was also on hand to do the honours and hit the magic Christmas lights switch.
Despite an electrical surge that threatened to ruin everything, she belted out some of her hits from a lofty height, before signing autographs and meeting fans.
As well as Laura there were flapping angels, mince pies and late-night shopping to keep even the most restless of bodies occupied. |
