Can I thank all the readers of the West End Extra for their messages of condolences sent to our family since the passing of my beloved father Councillor Mushtaq Qureshi (above) in St Mary’s Hospital, as reported on October 30.
We have been touched by the public response locally. So much so that we have decided to have a celebration of his life, commemorating his fight for social justice and help for all those in need, in the ward he represented for 15 years.
This will take place on Sunday November 29 between noon and 2pm at Beethoven Centre, Third Avenue, W10.
We look forward to seeing you all at this local event to pay tribute to my father’s life.
