Ear, ear! Noise complaints about Guy Ritchie pub
NOISE levels at Guy Ritchie’s swanky Mayfair pub are being monitored following complaints.
City Hall has received 37 complaints about disturbance from The Punchbowl in Farm Street, which is popular with celebrities. A microphone has been attached to a neighbouring home to measure decibel levels until Friday.
Steve Harrison, assistant director for community protection at Westminster City Council, said: “Following complaints from residents about noise outside The Punchbowl, we have set up a single microphone to monitor noise levels to see if there is a problem.
“Managers at the pub are aware of this activity.”
The council said its noise team had visited the premises several times in the past.
