Tin-Tin Ho
Games on? Our athletics stars of future

WESTMINISTER has revealed its future Olympic and Commonwealth Games hopefuls.
Ten young athletes have been identified as having the potential to compete at the highest level.
The youngest in the group is 10-year-old Tin-Tin Ho, from Paddington, who is the number one under-13 female table tennis player in Britain. Other young athletes include Ping Ho, another Paddington table tennis ace, who is a member of the English Table Tennis Association’s youth squad, and Marlon Gasparotto, 13, from Pimlico, who is currently ranked third in the under-13 individual medley category.
The youngsters will receive support from the council, including increased access to sports facilities, funding and mentoring advice in the hope that they could clinch medals at the Commonwealth Games in 2014 and the next Olympics in 2016.
Councillor Ed Argar, Westminster’s lead member for sport, said: “I’m delighted that we are actively encouraging and supporting them to develop their talents.”
