Cheers over the British Museum!

• I COULD hear the cheering across London as news of Camden Council’s rejection of the Lord Rogers-designed extension to the British Museum spread last Friday.
Their wisdom saves yet another of London’s exquisite landmark buildings from the same architectural mutilation that has been allowed to scar much of the capital over the last 20 years.
