Soho so good! Festival attracts hundreds
MORE than 1,000 revellers celebrated the annual Soho Festival in St Anne’s church gardens on Sunday.
Old-time favourites Dick Laurie and his Elastic Band did the business on the music front, and drag Queen extordinaire Ruby Venezuela added some colour to the busy day.
She was a fitting draw to the festival, now in its 35th year, given the sponsors of the were none other than Soho institution Stringfellows.
Other highlights included much slurping in the spaghetti eating competition, and some soar ears after the customary Alpine horn blowing. |
