Fun in the sun: Festive crowds flock to Sunday’s fayre – the biggest to date

FUN and sunseekers flocked to Marylebone on Sunday for the biggest summer fayre to date.
The bandstand in Paddington Gardens rocked with festival fever, foodies feasted on mouth-watering delicacies from across the world and there was enough punch and Pimm’s to float an ocean liner. And if all that sounds a bit too much like post-watershed fun, there was plenty for the children, with clowns, jugglers, face-painting and even a mini-tennis school to stave off the “Mummy, I’m bored” moments.
The sixth annual fayre was organised by
The Howard de Walden Estate, with proceeds put towards the Teenage Cancer Trust.
