Flower power! Leanne wins market trader of the year award
A FLORIST in Soho has won the market traders’ version of the Oscars.
Leanne Gellel, who runs her stall Leanne’s Flowers in Berwick Street, scooped top prize in the annual Market Trader of the Year competition.
Ms Gellel, who set up the stall 13 years ago, said: “I set up my stall because I love flowers and wanted to be able to work for myself. I’m elated to have won and I hope that it will boost sales for me and the other traders in Berwick Street.”
Votes were cast by member of the public for the competition, based on appearance, customer service, presentation and quality of goods. |
