• THANK you for your brilliant coverage of the licensing hearing of a café/bar conjoined to St Anselm and St Cecilia Roman Catholic Church, Lincoln’s Inn Fields, (‘Take a walk!’ Deli booze plan next to church is thrown out, January 16).
I am convinced that your report has had great impact.
Our junior church choir is going to have a lunchtime concert on Tuesday February 17 at 12.30pm.
It is titled Pilgrimage and Praise by Schola Caeciliana, which will include sacred music and readings.
Admission is free and all are welcome.
As I have never heard of such a choir at any other church locally, it will be a rare occasion (unless you go to St Paul’s or Westminster…) for those who love the sound of a junior choir. And they released a CD just before Christmas.
