High jinks: School’s rooftop playground

PLAYTIME has been taken to new heights at a Paddington school with the opening of a new rooftop playground 60 feet in the sky.
The £100,000 L-shaped playground – surrounded by a 3ft wall and a 15ft fence – at St Stephen’s Primary School in Westbourne Park Road boasts panoramic views of the capital.
Paul Voural, headteacher at St Stephen’s said: “We have transformed what was previously an unused area into an inspirational space for play and a resource that will enhance all pupil’s learning experience.
“Space is at a premium in the heart of London and all the children are extremely excited.
“This will make a real difference to the range of activities on offer.”
