Winter warmers: Saving money and energy
OLDER residents braved the cold and wet to attend two winter warmer sessions hosted by CityWest Homes.
Sessions held in Lisson Green and Westbourne Park estates gave residents the opportunity to learn how to save energy, money and keep warm this winter.
Energy-saving lightbulbs, gloves and scares were given away at the sessions attended by about 350 CityWest residents.
Director of customer services at CityWest Homes, Darren Levy, said: “To receive such a high turnout shows how important energy-saving issues are. We are committed to helping our residents save money on their energy bills and ensuring our residents, particularly older people, stay warm this winter.”
