Hands off Bansky!

• WESTMINISTER Council are Philistines. Banksy hasn’t done anything wrong and Robert Davis shouldn’t be so bloody pompous (One council under fire as Banksy’s art faces obliteration, October 24).
Furthermore, writing on walls is only the council’s business if they own the walls in question. Otherwise, whether or not it should be removed should be the owner’s decision. I’d rather trust Dame Joan Bakewell’s judgment on artistic matters than Robert Davis’s.
