West End Extra - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 12 September 2008

Marshall Street work

• I'M writing to update your readers on progress on the Marshall Street project, which will not only see the renewal of a historic pool in the heart of Soho, but a state-of-the-art leisure centre for local people.
I am delighted that despite the current economic climate, the council and its development partner, Marshall Street Regeneration Ltd, completed their £25 million development agreement and works have started .
The demolition of buildings in Dufours Place will be taking place autumn 2008 – winter 2008, with refurbishment works to Marshall Street Baths expected in the summer of 2009.
ISG Interior Exterior Plc are the construction managers for the project and they will oversee and carry out the demolition, build and restoration of the listed features. We will keep residents informed and post updates at www. marshallstreet-w1.co.uk
Cllr Audrey Lewis
Cabinet Member for Customers
and Neighbourhoods
Tim Robinson
director of Marshall Street Regeneration
