The pipes of peace!

• HAVING read Peter Cave’s letter, I must admit to being rather envious of the enchanted quality of life he is living.
While lesser mortals, particularly in Bayswater and Maida Vale, have to suffer contant burst pipes and floods, Peter Cave gets preferential treatment from Thames Water, and on a Sunday.
What a lucky man he is!
It’s such a pity he doesn’t realise it.
