Station street stabbing attack

A WOMAN is recovering in hospital after she was stabbed in the stomach in broad daylight during a bungled bag snatch outside Marylebone station.

The woman, 25, was on her way to meet a friend before work, when she was pounced upon by two men in Harewood Avenue just before 6.30am on Wednesday.
In the struggle she was stabbed and lost consciousness. When she came to, her bag was by her side with its contents intact. The victim managed to stumble home before calling an ambulance. She is recovering in St Mary’s hospital, Paddington where her condition is described as stable.
Police are appealing for witnesses to call Paddington CID on 020 7321 8510 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
