On the run for charity
STAFF from Westminster Council got on the move for charity this week.
From parking wardens to housing officers, tree surgeons to councillors, Westminster’s team joined 1,000 runners at the 5km fun run in Regent’s Park.
Long-jumper Chris Tomlinson was on hand to present prizes and the runners collected a charity haul of more than £5,000. The cash will go to a range of sports-based charities aimed at encouraging children to get active. |
