Cot death sadness

• WE were very sorry to hear about the tragic death of Monikar Thacker’s baby Vijay (Baby died sleeping in mother’s bed, February 22).
This is a terrible reminder that a family suffers the tragedy of a cot death nearly every day in the UK. It remains the leading cause of death for babies over one month old.
