Bouncing baby boy?
Try leaping!

NEW mother Isabella Campi is celebrating the birth of her baby boy, who will go down as one of the few people to boast a leap year birthday.
Oliver James Campi was born in the early hours of February 29, weighing 3.43 kilos at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington.
Mrs Campi from Kensal Rise said she was pleased to have a baby on such an unusual day. She said: “He was due on February 18. Then they induced the birth so I would deliver on February 28 but he was determined to hold on until February 29.
“I think it’s a special thing to be born on that day. In Italy, where I’m from, there are lots of superstitions from medieval times about leap years – they used to think that bad things happened during them – but my family are very happy to have a February 29 baby.
“It will be quite cool for him when he’s older to be able to say that he was born on February 29.”
