Nightclub death: man is arrested
A MAN has been arrested in connection with a murder two years ago outside a Soho nightclub.
The 35-year-old was stopped by police officers at Heathrow Airport on Saturday.
He was wanted by detectives for the murder of French student Sede Makaya, who was found stabbed to death outside Kabaret Prophecy in August 2006.
The 24-year-old was discovered with stab wounds in Upper John Street.
A police spokesman said: “We believe Sede had attended a nightclub, the Kabaret’s Prophecy in Upper John Street, and was involved in an incident inside the club during the evening. Security at the club intervened in the incident and those involved were asked to leave. A short while later the victim was stabbed outside.” |
