'Rename Tube stop', Ken told

MURAD Qureshi has told Ken Livingstone to put Church Street Market on the map.
The London Assembly member wants the London mayor to rename the Hammersmith, Circle and Metropolitan line branch of Edgware Road station to Church Street Market.
“It would be a real boost to the local economy,” he said.
His calls follow the publication of a report called London’s Street Markets, highlighting their important role of in the capital and proposing a number of measures to protect and promote them.
Mr Qureshi, who lives in Paddington, said: “What better way to promote a market than by having it announced on the Tube every few minutes, literally putting it on the map – our world-famous Tube map?”
