Road victim ‘critical’

A PENSIONER was fighting for her life in hospital this week after being hit by a car in St John’s Wood.
The woman, in her 80s, was injured in Wellington Road about 4.40pm on Wednesday in an accident involving a silver Toyota Avensis.
She was taken to hospital, where her condition was later described as critical.
Anyone who witnessed the accident or can assist police should contact the collision investigation unit based at Euston Traffic Garage on 020 7388 6806.
